THE ROLE
As the Director of Sales & Strategy, you will lead the charge in driving sales growth and strategic success for a renowned events and hospitality group. Oversee sales teams across premium Sydney venues, develop innovative strategies, and build lasting client relationships. This role combines leadership, business development, and operational excellence to deliver outstanding results across weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, securing repeat business and expanding market presence
- Manage and maintain your own portfolio of B2B client sales
- Set sales targets and revenue goals in alignment with the company’s overall objectives
- Set and implement sales and business strategy/planning
- Drive sales excellence: define and control sales and service KPIs
- Maintain client relationships to book repeat business and maximise the lifetime value of
- Lead the preparation and submission of tender proposals for government and private contracts.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, industry bodies, and relevant government agencies to support brand initiatives
About you;
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar position (Sales Director, Sales Manager, Head of Partnerships) within the Events or Hospitality space
- Strong communicator with customers/stakeholders at all levels - corporate
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, industry bodies, and relevant government agencies to support brand initiatives
- Previous experience in achieving company revenue goals and growth of the business
- Ability to interpret, communicate, and work in accordance with Company policies and procedures
