"How AI & Machine Learning are enhancing human safety and quality of life"

Abstract:

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning may sound like sci-fi come to life, but it's also quite practical. Defence, Finance, Telco, Retailer — Dr Trung Duc Vo will show and discuss how today's society can benefit from these newcomers in terms of productivity, safety and quality of life.

About Trung:

Dr Trung Duc Vo is a Lead Data Scientist, with over 10 years of data science and advanced analytics experience. He currently leads a team of data scientists and analysts delivering innovative and cutting edge AI and Machine Learning to Australia's largest Fintech bank.

"The MOOvement of AgriTech"

Abstract:

From drones to AI, the Agriculture industry is undergoing its biggest update since the Industrial Revolution. Andrew will be discussing how these new technologies are influencing the industry that feeds us all, and where Agriculture is heading.

About Andrew:

Andrew Skinner is an IT Director, who works as part of the Meat & Livestock agency. He is responsible for setting the direction and strategy for how technology can help us ensure the quality of Australian meat.

Erin Soo Kee

"Product Owner or Product Evangelist?"

Abstract:

With stories and anecdotes from her Salesforce career, Erin will explore the intersection of product ownership and product evangelism in large agile organisations, and some of the pitfalls of passionate product people in the corporate world.

About Erin:

Erin Soo Kee is a financial services professional with almost 10 years of experience in Salesforce implementation and delivery. With one foot in business and the other in Technology, she has worked with a broad set of customers and stakeholders to enable strategic initiatives with technology. She currently works as an Agile Product Owner in a large, enterprise implementation of Salesforce.
