Working on behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced and self-motivated light vehicle mechanic to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
They are an Australian-owned and operated business and are looking to expand their business in the near future.
You will play a key role in the day to day operations of the workshop and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as their team grows.
This is a diverse role where you can be expected to perform tasks such as repairing brakes, clutches, head gaskets and engine replacements.
- Working Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays
- 9am-5pm
- Full-time permanent work
- Cert III in light vehicle motor repairs (Mechanical)
- 5+ years experience within the industry
- Experience in diagnostics, hydraulics, and servicing
- Exposure to Diesel engines is desirable but not required
- AIS and AUVIS inspector accreditation
- Valid Australian License
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Light vehicle service and repairs (Ranging from servicing to engine replacements)
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Ordering parts, liaising with suppliers and customers
- Be self-motivated and be able to work autonomously
- Full working rights
- Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment
- Be physically fit and able to pass a medical prior to employment
