Role overview:
As a Full Stack Engineer you will be collaborating front-end, product, and data science teams to integrate machine learning models into the application, ensuring efficient data pipelines and real-time inference. The team are looking for someone who is keen to learn and transition into a leadership position. You will need to be a team player and happy to attend the office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the deployment and management of applications on cloud platforms (e.g.,AWS, Azure), including DevOps practices for CI/CD and managing machine learning model updates.
- Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of scalable, high-performance back-end services and applications using Node.js.
- Architect, design, and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with third-party services, front-end systems, and machine learning models.
- Ensure code quality by enforcing best practices for clean, maintainable, and efficient code through peer reviews and mentoring.
- Oversee and guide database design and management (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL),ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and scalability, especially for machine learning data handling
- Mentor junior developers, offering guidance on technical challenges, machine learning integration's, and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js
- Proven experience architecting and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and machine learning model integration.
- Deep understanding of database technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, with experience in database design, performance optimisation, and managing machine learning data.
- Experience in cloud platform (AWS), including serverless architecture, containerization, and orchestration (e.g Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
