Position: Warehouse 2IC
Location: Lidcombe
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement procedures for inventory management and control.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyse warehouse data, create reports, and optimize processes for increased efficiency.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on best practices, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role, preferably in the fashion or e-commerce industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, vlookup, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order picking, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
