About the Role
As a Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and analysing cost structures to support the company’s financial performance and decision-making. This part-time role offers flexibility in hours, with a mix of office days in Clyde and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and report on cost structures, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and optimise inventory management and distribution costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant, ideally within logistics, distribution, or similar industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced spreadsheet applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
