Our client, a major retailer of natural stone and tiles, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to oversee and enhance customer service operations at their busy distribution centre in Western Sydney. This pivotal role ensures smooth communication, process efficiency, and outstanding customer satisfaction in a thriving environment.

About the Role
As the Customer Service Supervisor, you’ll lead and mentor a high-performing customer service team, implement and improve processes, and resolve customer concerns professionally. This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) offering flexible hours and on-site parking.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and train the customer service team to support professional growth.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and enhance operational processes for better efficiency.
  • Task Management: Prioritize team workflows, including scheduling and rostering.
  • Customer Support: Address and resolve customer disputes with diplomacy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the distribution centre team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain seamless service.
  • Organizational Excellence: Maintain a well-organized work environment while thriving under pressure.
About You
  • 5–10 years of experience leading a busy customer service team, ideally within a distribution centre.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven expertise in dispute resolution and conflict management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adept at learning ERP systems.
  • Resilient, proactive, and focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
