Job Description

One of our Melbourne-based clients within financial services is seeking a skilled Integration Tester to join the team.

Having experience with integration testing is essential for this role. The ideal candidate would have experience in integration testing between Genesys Cloud and Salesforce CRM. 

This is a hybrid Melbourne based role, so please do not apply if you are living outside of Victoria. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and document test plans, strategies, and test cases specific to the integration of Genesys Cloud and Salesforce CRM.
  • Integration Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing of APIs, data flows, and system interactions to validate seamless functionality between the platforms.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, document, and collaborate with developers to resolve integration issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Automation: Build and execute automated test scripts for repetitive testing tasks to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed test results, defect tracking, and status updates to stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in testing integrations between Genesys Cloud and Salesforce CRM.
  • API Knowledge: Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, including tools like Postman or SoapUI for API testing.
  • Test Automation: Proficiency in using automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JMeter) for integration testing.
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with other CRM or contact centre platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.
  • ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
