  • Morning shift (starting as early as 4:30 am) (Normal Start is 6:30am)
  • Full-time

Working on behalf of our client we are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Fitter to keep their recycling plant running smoothly. The work can be dusty and dirty, but if you enjoy problem-solving and taking initiative, this role is for you!
You’ll be working both inside and outside the plant, performing repairs, maintenance, and collaborating with other teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and attend to breakdowns.
  • Ensure all parts are ready before starting jobs.
  • Work closely with electricians and operators.
  • Follow safety requirements, including wearing a fitted respiratory mask (requires being clean-shaven or minimal beard styles).
  • Take initiative—don’t wait to be assigned tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Certificate III in Mechanical Trade (essential).
  • Fabrication and welding experience (a bonus).
  • Flexible with start times—current shift starts at 4:30 am.
  • Organised and proactive approach to work.
  • A team player who’s happy to pitch in when needed.
