About Our Client:
Our client is a leading seasonal event design company specializsng in bespoke-build projects across Australia. They are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team and ensure the successful execution of projects from start to finish.
Role Objective:
As the Operations Manager, you will confidently lead teams and oversee the entire lifecycle of bespoke-build projects, starting from the initial design meeting through to bump-out. Your expertise in the events, exhibition, or entertainment industry will be crucial as you manage production, technical elements, infrastructure, lighting, and installation work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring all operations are conducted in a cost-effective manner.
- Enhance operational management systems, processes, and best practices while overseeing warehouse efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with state-based processes and legal requirements, examining financial data to improve profitability.
- This is a hands-on role that will sometimes require going on-site to assist with installations.
- Proven experience in installation and site management, with a strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).
- Strong budget management skills and the ability to effectively manage time—both yours and others'.
- Exceptional relationship management skills, facilitating meetings and fostering collaboration.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in recruiting, training, and supervising staff.
