A fast-growing client of ours in the financial sector are looking to bring on a talented Staff Software Engineer to join the team.
The Role
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of tackling intricate technical challenges in a developer-centric setting. You’ll take full ownership of business requirements, crafting and delivering robust, full-stack solutions. Working alongside a talented team of engineers, you’ll utilize TypeScript, the MERN stack, and AWS to create systems that are both scalable and maintainable.
This is a fully remote role within Australia
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, maintainable systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Take full ownership of delivering features across the entire technology stack.
- Mentor and support the engineering team, encouraging technical growth and continuous improvement.
- Define and uphold best practices for coding, testing, and deployment processes.
- Lead and execute technical initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Experience across TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS, and MongoDB.
- Over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable, robust software architectures.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and inspiring engineering teams.
- Proven expertise in software design and architecture, with a track record of impactful contributions.
- Adaptable and thrives in dynamic startup environments.
- Deeply passionate about technology and an eagerness to learn.
