Our client is part of a Global business that services the Oil, Mining, and Gas industries globally.
They are looking for a driven and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join them in their Prestons Facility on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be leading a small team of 3-4 with plans to grow the team up to 10 in the coming months.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating warehouse personnel in the completion of warehouse duties
- Assisting with loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Processing inbound and outbound orders
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and customers
- Leading by example - the team is small but growing quickly!
- Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse
- Operating machinery to assist with all daily warehouse operations
- Previous experience as a team leader or leading hand in a warehouse environment
- Forklift license (Order picker experience is advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SAP
- Working at heights ticket
- Friendly, collaborative and approachable
- An inherent safety and risk awareness is essential to operating in a medium-risk environment
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency
- Forklift license
- Full working rights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have a continuous improvement/forward-thinking mindset
- Appropriate warehouse qualifications
