Our Client is seeking a talented Customer Development Manager to join their team and drive exceptional customer service and drive growth and sales in their territory.
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Development Manager:
- Provide effective leadership to the branch operation by promoting a collaborative team environment, empowering staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in achieving sales and service targets by maintaining industry knowledge, minimising customer churn, and supporting the branch management team.
- Manage risk by ensuring staff compliance, providing training and guidance, and maintaining quality, safety, and environmental management systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and supporting the customer care team.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Branch Manager.
The Ideal Candidate: - Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in a customer-facing or sales environment.
- Strong team management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Basic understanding of financial and budgeting processes, as well as the ability to analyse data and reporting.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and driving continuous improvement.
- Proficient in oral and written communication, as well as IT skills.
- Understanding of risk management, including hazard identification and application of safety practices.
- Passion for meeting and exceeding relevant targets and key performance indicators.
Desired Qualifications and Experience: - Understanding of the hygiene, pest control, or related service industry.
- Relevant qualifications in business, sales, or financial management.
- Experience within the sales or services sector.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and associated standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
