Our Client is in the FMCG space and are looking for a National Business Manager to lead the Business Plan, drive growth across key accounts , optimise sales strategies and lead a national sales team.
It is a strategic leadership position that will focus on managing and expanding partnerships with major accounts within the FMCG environment. The role involves driving the joint business plan and optimising the route to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic Joint Business Plans with key accounts.
- Drive revenue growth, optimise product mix and expand distribution.
- Lead a national team of account managers and field sales professionals.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Negotiate and manage trading terms to build long-term customer partnerships.
- Optimise sales strategies to enhance operational efficiency and market penetration.
- Conduct performance analysis and collaborate with internal teams on forecasting.
What You’ll Bring:
- 8+ years of FMCG account management experience, including grocery and food service channels.
- Strong leadership experience managing dispersed sales teams.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales and business growth strategies.
- Expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on change management and business development.
- Willingness to travel domestically
