Sirius Technology is partnering with a leading health organisation and have an amazing opportunity for a Data Platform Manager to join their Data Governance & Analytics team. As Data Platform Manager, you will be critical to the strategic direction, scaling, design, development, and operation of their Data Platforms, including the Azure Data environment.
You will be mainly responsible for working and leading across different teams and specialists to improve capability and performance of the Data Platform. This will include pipelines, datasets and deliverying data products for internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strategic and product management skills, team management experience in data pipelines, Power BI datasets, and performance indicators. You should be strong in team building, and stakeholder managament with technical knowledge in advanced analytics, data warehousing, and Power BI.
The Data Platform Manager is responsible for:
- Supporting and assist with the roadmap for a world class enterprise data and analytics platform
- Design and integrate data architecture and engineering to make sure data requirements are met
- Oversee and direct data operations and team activities, including data extraction, development, improvement, and support of data products and assets.
- Build and support analytics capability in the organisation to ensure optimal data asset returns
- Proven technical leadership and effective team management include leading, establishing standards, strategy, processes and procedures, remaining hands on throughout
- Experience in a product management and managing development projects
- Excellent knowledge of how data can be used to support effective decision-making
- Excellent business acumen with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- Technical knowledge of Azure Data technologies (ADF, Power BI, Power Automate), Relational Database, Data Warehouse and related technologies
