Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Service Sales Executive to manage our client's spare parts portfolio. This role is essential in supporting customers by providing timely quotations, processing orders, and ensuring seamless delivery of spare parts. The ideal candidate will be based in Melbourne and work closely with our team to maintain high customer satisfaction through excellent communication, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage unexpected challenges. Key Responsibilities:
  • Quotations & Order Management: Generate and manage quotations for spare parts using their  unique ERP system, iScala. Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, including order acknowledgment, tracking, and managing delivery terms.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers and internal sales engineers across Australia and New Zealand to understand and meet their spare parts requirements. This includes occasional travel to customer sites to build relationships and understand their needs.
  • Communication & Reporting: Maintain strong communication with customers, ensuring they are informed at every stage of their order. Prepare and present statistical analysis and reports on sales performance and hit ratios.
  • Problem-Solving: Be proactive in managing unexpected issues, such as urgent customer needs or supply chain disruptions, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains the top priority.
Requirements:
  • Location: Office based in Tullamarine, Melbourne
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role in a technical or engineering environment is necessary.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, along with the ability to learn and navigate their own ERP system.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for managing customer interactions and internal team coordination.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand commercial terms, analyse sales data, and make informed decisions to support business growth.
